Putin’s goal is the complete occupation of Ukraine: Zelensky explained how to stop the Russian military machine

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s goal is to occupy all of Ukraine, and therefore exchanges of territories will not stop him.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his speech at the annual meeting “Yalta European Strategy”.
He explained that Putin would only stop if he ran out of resources to wage war.
“Someone might think that territory swaps or an attempt to tempt Putin by resuming trade with America or the world might stop this war. That’s not true. The Russian war machine will only stop when it runs out of fuel,” he said.
According to the president, pressure is needed on the Russian Federation so that instead of occupying Ukrainian lands, Putin sets the goal of preserving his economy.
The Kremlin will lose the meaning of war when the airspace of Ukraine and its neighbors — Poland and Romania — is reliably protected from attacks.
Zelensky emphasized that it is the United States that has the ability to provide air defense systems so that Ukraine, together with its partners, can stop Russian terror.
“And this will definitely force Russia to end the war. Moreover, Putin himself is suggesting with his actions that this is worth doing. This should be a truly strong conclusion after the Russian drones in Poland,” he summed up.
Earlier, Russian dictator Putin said that reaching agreements with Ukraine on key issues was “virtually impossible.”
