With his threats to NATO, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin has once again shown that he is not going to stop the war against Ukraine, but we should not talk about decades, but about the prospects of the coming years, because the Russian economy can no longer withstand such a load.

This opinion was expressed on the air of “Pryamoy” by Vadym Denysenko, head of the analytical center “Dilova Stolytsia”.

“I think that he cannot make any plans for 10 years for many reasons, starting from biological and ending with the fact that the Russian economy will not last 10 years at this rate. To be honest, it will not last even the five years that are affordable, from my point of view, at this rate, maybe even three years. Therefore, as of now, he can say whatever he wants. There is no one in his entourage who would stop him, who would say that he is wrong and that such a rate of growth of the military budget will destroy the Russian economy. But at the moment he has to think in shorter categories and he will act at most until the end of the year, the beginning of the next,” says Denisenko.

In addition, the political scientist commented on the results of the NATO summit, calling it successful for Ukraine.

“I do not agree that there were no breakthroughs at the NATO summit. I believe that this summit was successful for Ukraine. If someone thought that Ukraine would be invited to NATO at this summit, then this will not happen either at this summit or at the next one. That is, in principle, in the foreseeable future there will be no entry of Ukraine into NATO. What was important for us was that the coalition of those who are ready to finance the purchase of weapons for Ukraine was confirmed,” Denisenko noted.

Recall that after the NATO summit in The Hague, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin lashed out at the Alliance and once again stated that Moscow had been deceived by breaking its promise not to expand NATO to the East. He also assured that Russia wants to end the war in Ukraine with “the desired result,” so Russian defense spending, which currently amounts to 13.5 trillion rubles, is aimed precisely at this. At the same time, Putin said that the West is trying to bury Russia’s economy, but believes that “they will soon die, and they are burying us.”

As reported by “Pryamiy”, on June 20, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin made a series of cynical statements regarding the course of the war with Ukraine. He made it clear that he planned to seize all of Ukraine , because he considers it “ours”, that is, “Russian”. Putin also cynically said that the Russian Federation has an “old rule: wherever a Russian soldier steps, it is ours”.
