Qatar threatens Iran with response to attacks on US military bases

The Qatari Foreign Ministry said that it reserves the right to attack Iran in response to its violation of Qatari airspace.

A representative of the Qatari Foreign Ministry wrote about this on the social network X.

“We consider this a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, its airspace, international law and the Charter of the United Nations. We confirm that Qatar reserves the right to respond directly in a manner equivalent to the nature and scale of this brazen aggression,” the statement said.

The department assured that Qatar successfully repelled the Iranian attack by intercepting the missiles.

In addition, according to a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, all necessary security measures were previously taken, including the evacuation of the American base.

At the same time, Qatar called for an end to military actions in the Middle East and a return to the negotiating table, emphasizing that further escalation would undermine the stability of the region.

“We reaffirm that dialogue is the only way to overcome the current crises and ensure the security of the region and the peace of its people,” the ministry added.

Earlier it became known that Iran fired several missiles at American military bases in the Middle East in response to US strikes on Tehran’s nuclear program facilities.
