Rada dismisses Malyuk from post of SBU head
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the resignation of Vasyl Malyuk from the position of Head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
This became known from the broadcast of the meeting.
On Monday, January 13, the VRU Committee on National Security and Defense considered President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s proposal to dismiss Vasyl Malyuk from the position of head of the Security Service and did not support the decision.
However, today the issue was brought up for reconsideration by the Committee, which nevertheless supported Malyuk’s resignation .
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed that Mykhailo Fedorov head the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As is known, Zelenskyy suggested that Denys Shmyhal head the Ministry of Energy .
And already on January 9, the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov and the Head of the Ministry of Defense Denys Shmyhal submitted their resignations .
In addition, the Verkhovna Rada supported the resignationof Mykhailo Fedorov from the position of First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation .
