Railway sabotage: Poland demands extradition of Ukrainians from Belarus

Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Maciej Wewir said that Warsaw is demanding the extradition of individuals suspected of involvement in the railway bombing.

This was reported by the PAP publication.

The Polish department has already submitted a note with a corresponding request to the Belarusian side.

As noted, the Polish prosecutor’s office has charged two Ukrainian citizens. In particular, Oleksandr K. and Yevheniy I., probably in cooperation with Russian special services, carried out sabotage on the Warsaw-Lublin railway section.

Foreign Minister Radysław Sikorski assured that he would inform European foreign ministers about the incident. He expects that the services of the EU member states will cooperate.

As a reminder, an explosive device detonated on the Warsaw-Lublin railway line in Poland , destroying part of the track, which is crucial for transporting aid to Ukraine.

As it became known, the sabotage on the Warsaw-Lublin railway line in Poland was carried out by two Ukrainian citizens who collaborated with the Russians.

Earlier, Polish law enforcement officers identified four more people involved in the railway bombing and detained the first suspects.

By the way, against the backdrop of sabotage and cyberattacks in Poland, it was stated that the enemy is preparing for war and trying to create favorable conditions for potential aggression on Polish territory .
