Rain and fog: what will the weather be like in Ukraine on October 29?

On Wednesday, October 29, Ukraine will experience damp and cool weather with occasional rain and fog.

Forecaster Natalia Didenko reported this on her Telegram channel.

Weather by region

According to her forecast, atmospheric fronts will bring light to moderate precipitation to most regions of the country. The southern regions will remain without significant rainfall, while brief clearings are possible in the west in the afternoon.

Winds are expected to be moderate, westerly, with occasional gusts. Overnight temperatures will range from 3°C to 8°C, and daytime highs of 7°C to 11°C in the west and north, 10°C to 13°C in central Russia, and up to 13°C to 15°C in the south and southeast.

Weather in Kyiv

Light rain and gusty westerly winds are forecast for the capital. Overnight temperatures will range from 4°C to 7°C, with daytime highs around 10°C.

Forecast for the end of the week

According to Didenko, a gradual warming trend is expected in Ukraine over the next few days, with daytime temperatures expected to reach 12 to 17°C. Only on Saturday will temperatures temporarily drop to 10 to 12°C.

The weather forecaster also warned of increased geomagnetic activity on October 28–29:

“Magnetic storms can cause headaches, weakness, and vascular complications. If you feel well, it’s worth getting more exercise outdoors: the cold is still mild, and light activity will only be beneficial.”
