Rain and heat up to +31°: weather on May 21

In most regions of Ukraine, it has become warmer, and almost summer-like weather has set in. However, a slight cooling should be expected soon.
This is reported by NV with reference to weather forecaster Ivan Semilyt .
“In the coming days, unstable weather will prevail in Ukraine, which will be caused by a low pressure field from the southeast and south. Weather processes have acquired a summer character: rains are short-lived, accompanied by thunderstorms and have different intensity and uneven distribution across the territory,” the expert noted.
According to him, the weather will not change significantly by the end of this week, only a slight warming is possible at the end of the week.
During May 22–23, short-term rains are expected in western, eastern, and northeastern Ukraine.
Warm air from the Caspian region will arrive in Ukraine over the weekend. The air temperature will rise, but there will be rain in some places.
The forecaster explained that nights will become warmer — from +11° to +18°, but in the west of the country it will be cooler — from +9° to +15°.
During the day, the temperature in most regions will rise to +19…+25°, and in the east and southeast the air will warm up to +25…+31°.
At the same time, Ivan Semilyt emphasized that the heat may be variable: next week, according to preliminary data, the air temperature will drop by 3–5 degrees.
