Rain, cold and frost: Ukraine is covered by a new wave of autumn weather

Most regions of Ukraine will see rain in the coming days, and temperatures will vary significantly depending on the region. In the west of the country, frosts are expected to reach -3° at night, while in the south and southeast, the air will warm up to +23° during the day.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warns about this.
On October 13–14, the weather will be affected by a cold atmospheric front that came from the west. After its passage, atmospheric pressure will increase, so no precipitation is expected in western Ukraine, and on October 14 and on the Right Bank. However, on October 15, rain will again cover most regions.
It will be coldest in the west. At night, the temperature will be +1°…+6°, and on the soil surface, frosts to 0°…-3° are possible in the air in some places. During the day, the thermometer will show +9°…+15°.
In other regions, the forecast is +4°…+10° at night, +12°…+17° during the day. The warmest temperatures will be in the east and southeast, where +9°…+14° are expected at night, and +18°…+23° during the day.
“It will be warmest on the left bank, especially in southern Ukraine,” forecasters note.
The wind is mainly northwest, with a speed of 5–10 m/s.
On the night of October 14, the temperature on the ground surface in the west of the country will drop to 0°…-3°. Because of this, forecasters have declared the first level of danger – yellow.
