Rain, fog and sharp temperature drops: weather forecast for November

During November 4–5, an atmospheric front will move across the territory of Ukraine from the west, bringing rain to most regions. Despite the precipitation, the air temperature will remain quite comfortable for the beginning of November.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

Starting in the second half of the week, the weather will be influenced by an anticyclone, so precipitation will cease, and more stable, dry weather will establish itself in the country.

According to weather forecasters, on November 4–6, high atmospheric pressure will dominate near the Earth’s surface, but active processes will be observed in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which will cause significant cloudiness.

Rain is expected in Ukraine on November 4 and 5, and on November 6, the weather will be dry.

“The weather will remain relatively warm for November, although the temperature may fluctuate slightly depending on the number of sunny days,” the Ukrhydrometeorological Center specifies.

Fog is possible in places at night and in the morning. The air temperature at night will be +3…+9°, and on November 5-6 in the western regions – from 0 to +5°. In the daytime, +8…+13° is expected, in the south – up to +16°.

Forecaster Natalka Didenko notes that on November 4–5, Ukraine will experience a short-term cooling, but from November 6 to 10, the temperature will rise again. After that, a more significant decrease in temperature is expected.

Closer to November 11–12, frosts are forecast at night, and during the day the thermometer will not exceed +2…+8°.
