In Ukraine, rainy weather will persist in the coming days, and in some regions precipitation will be significant and accompanied by thunderstorms. Improvements are forecast after October 20, when cyclonic activity will begin to weaken.
This was reported by weather forecaster Vitaliy Postrygan on his Facebook page.
According to his forecast, on October 16, the weather in Ukraine will be affected by a cyclone, which will bring rains of varying intensity. The most precipitation is expected on the Left Bank. It will be cloudy in most regions, and in the Carpathians it will rain with sleet in places. In the southern regions, there will be no precipitation in some places during the day.
According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, the daytime air temperature will be +8…+13 °C, on the Left Bank it will warm up to +13…+18 °C, and in the Carpathians it will be only +1…+6 °C.
On Saturday, October 17, the rains will continue, although they will become weaker in some areas. Fog is possible in places. At night, the temperature will be +6…+11 °C, during the day — +11…+16 °C.
On Sunday and Monday, October 18–19, Ukraine will be affected by a new southern cyclone, which, according to preliminary calculations, will move from Turkey to the south of the country. It will again bring significant precipitation and, in some places, thunderstorms.
“According to preliminary forecast calculations, we expect the weather to stabilize after October 20,” noted Postrygan.
The forecaster added that October can still please Ukrainians with warm days, but umbrellas will remain necessary in the near future.
