Rain in the west, heat in the east: weather forecast for early August

August greeted Ukraine with pleasant and warm weather, but there will be rain in places. The temperature will only increase throughout the month.

This was reported by the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.

There will be mostly no precipitation in Ukraine over the weekend, with only rain expected in the far west of the country on the afternoon of August 2.

A tendency towards an increase in air temperature will be observed everywhere. The highest daytime temperature of +33 degrees is expected in the east, south and Crimea, and the lowest nighttime temperature of +11 degrees in the west of the country.

However, on August 3, short-term rain and even thunderstorms are possible in places in Transcarpathia, Prykarpattia, and the southeast of the country.

On Monday, in most areas of the Left Bank, in the afternoon and in the western regions, short-term rains, in some places with thunderstorms, in the eastern, Zaporizhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions, in places significant rains, in the rest of the territory without precipitation.

The average temperature at night will be from 11 to 18°, during the day the temperature will be from 24 to 29°. In the south and east of Ukraine the temperature at night will be from 16 to 23°, during the day from 27 to 34°.
