The weather in Ukraine will remain unstable this week. Warm days will alternate with rain and thunderstorms, but comfortable summer heat will prevail in most regions.
This was told to NV by Natalia Ptukha, a forecaster at the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
“We have a tendency not to a sharp, but a gradual increase in temperature indicators. Moderate heat awaits us in the coming days,” the expert explained.
According to her, stable warm weather should not be expected yet, as the unstable atmosphere will contribute to the formation of local cumulonimbus clouds.
At the same time, on sunny days, the air temperature can be quite high, and in some places even hot.
On Wednesday, June 3, an atmospheric front will bring rain to the right-bank part of Ukraine, and in places to other regions. The air temperature at night will be +10…+15 degrees, during the day – +16…+21. In Transcarpathia and the far south, the air will warm up to +25 degrees.
On Thursday, June 4, precipitation is forecast across almost the entire country.
“In some places they will be accompanied by thunderstorms – these are classic summer processes,” Ptukha emphasized.
The daytime temperature will be up to +23 degrees in most regions and up to +27 degrees in the south.
“These are quite comfortable indicators for this time of year,” the forecaster noted.
On Friday, June 5, short-term rains and thunderstorms are forecast mainly in the east and west of the country. Sunny and dry weather is expected in other regions.
The air temperature at night will be up to +17 degrees, during the day – up to +27 degrees.
On the weekend, June 6-7, short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible in most northern, central, and southern regions. The daytime temperature will fluctuate within +20…+26 degrees, and in the south and southeast it will rise to +29 degrees in places.
In the west of the country it will be slightly cooler – from +18 to +23 degrees.
The weather forecaster urged people to follow the warnings of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, as thunderstorms may be accompanied by gusty winds.
In addition, an extraordinary level of fire danger remains in Volyn, Ternopil, and Sumy regions.
“There has been less precipitation there so far,” the expert explained.
According to her, this situation is typical for the summer period, when rains are distributed unevenly across the territory.
