Rain, thunderstorms and up to +33°: what will the weather be like in Ukraine this week

Short-term rains, thunderstorms, and hail and squalls are expected in Ukraine this week. At the same time, precipitation will stop in the second half of the week, and the air temperature will gradually increase. The warmest will be in Transcarpathia, where thermometers can rise to +33 degrees.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

According to weather forecaster Oksana Sklyar, short-term rains are forecast in most regions on July 28 due to the passage of an active cold atmospheric front. On the Left Bank, moderate and in some places significant precipitation, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls at a speed of 15-20 m/s are possible during the day.

The forecaster noted that during July 29-30, atmospheric pressure will increase, so the rains will gradually stop. On Wednesday, precipitation will persist only in the far east, and on Thursday, dry weather is expected throughout the country.

In the coming days, the air temperature will drop slightly. At night, +13…+18 degrees are forecast, in the west – +10…+15, in the daytime – +21…+26. In the southeast, the air will warm up to +24…+29 degrees.

Gradual warming will begin in Ukraine starting Wednesday. The daytime temperature will be +24…+29 degrees, and in Transcarpathia – up to +30…+33. According to the forecasters, the air will continue to warm up both during the day and at night.
