Rebrov resigned as head coach of the Ukrainian national team.

Serhiy Rebrov’s era at the helm of the national team has ended – the Ukrainian Football Association has officially announced the end of cooperation by mutual agreement.

Rebrov took over the national team in 2023 and managed to lead it to the European Championship, overcoming the difficult playoff barrier. The team also had a chance to qualify for the World Cup, but failed to achieve that goal.

UAF President Andriy Shevchenko thanked the coach for his work and the development of young players, noting the need for new solutions for the future of the national team.

Rebrov himself thanked the team and fans for their support, noting that this period was an important milestone for him. At the same time, he is not leaving Ukrainian football and will continue to work at the UAF as vice president and member of the executive committee.

The name of the new head coach of the Ukrainian national team is promised to be announced later.
