“Recovery and Resilience”: Lithuania allocates another 10 million euros for Ukraine

Lithuania has announced the allocation of 10 million euros, which the country will direct to the EU program for financial support to Ukraine, the Ukraine Facility.

This was announced by the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, Kęstutis Budris.

“We have supported Ukraine from the first day of Russia’s full-scale aggression and will continue to support Ukraine’s long-term recovery and resilience,” the minister emphasized.

He added that since the start of the full-scale invasion, Lithuania has allocated more than 1.7 billion euros to support Ukraine.

Previously, the Lithuanian authorities decided to provide assistance to the Ukrainian energy sector and transfer about a hundred generators to Ukraine.

Let us recall that last yearthe Armed Forces of Ukraine received modern Ukrainian long-range weapons purchased with Lithuanian funds.
