Red level magnetic storm: when to expect deterioration

After several days of calm geomagnetic conditions, the Earth will once again be engulfed by a magnetic storm. As early as Tuesday, July 21, geomagnetic activity will begin to increase, and a red-level storm is expected on Wednesday, July 22.

According to experts, on July 21, the K-index will increase to 4, which corresponds to the yellow level of geomagnetic activity. The very next day, July 22, a G1-level magnetic storm with a K-index of 5 is expected.

“A red-level geomagnetic storm with a K-index of 5 is forecast for July 22,” says the Meteoagent forecast data.

During magnetic storms, weather-sensitive people may experience headaches, weakness, drowsiness, dizziness, drops in blood pressure, and exacerbation of chronic diseases.

Experts advise getting more rest during this period, drinking enough water, spending more time outdoors, avoiding overwork, and limiting the consumption of alcohol, coffee, and heavy meals.
