Refinery, port and aviation warehouse: Defense forces attacked a number of important Russian military facilities

On the night of April 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of facilities of the Russian aggressor, including an oil refinery, a port, and an aircraft warehouse. As a result of the attacks, fires were recorded at some facilities, and the extent of the damage is being determined.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the infrastructure of the Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez oil refinery in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia, was hit . As a result of the strike, a large-scale fire broke out on the territory of the enterprise.
It is noted that this facility occupies a strategic place in Russia’s oil refining industry, providing fuel to the Moscow region, which accounts for almost 30% of all Russian gasoline consumption, as well as to the Russian army.
The enterprise has a production capacity of about 17 million tons of raw materials per year and manufactures over 50 types of products, including aviation and diesel fuel for the needs of the military-industrial complex.
In addition, a fire has been confirmed at the port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea , which is one of the largest in Russia and is used for the transportation of petroleum products.
An aviation equipment storage warehouse in the Saki area in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was also hit.
In addition to strikes on infrastructure, the Ukrainian military struck enemy manpower concentrations in the following areas:
- Berezovoye and Novomykolaivka, Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Hulyaipol, Zaporizhia region;
- Yalynsky, Donetsk region;
“The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to strike important enemy targets both in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on the territory of the Russian Federation until the complete cessation of armed aggression against Ukraine,” the General Staff reported.
Enemy losses and the final extent of damage are currently being determined.
It was previously reported that on Sunday, April 5, a section of an oil pipeline near the port in Primorsk, Leningrad Oblast, Russia, was damaged by a drone attack .
