Reserve+ now has a deferment for another category

Starting November 28, conscripts can use the “Reserve+” mobile app to request a deferment from military service if one of their parents has a Group I or II disability.

The Ministry of Defense reported this.

The department clarified that the service is only available if the conscript is the only adult child of a person with a disability, and the family has only one parent.

“The service is available if the conscript is the only adult child of a person with a disability and the family has only one parent,” the Ministry of Defense noted.

You can submit a request directly through the app. The system automatically checks the data in state registries, and if the grounds are confirmed, the deferment is granted digitally.

It was previously reported that the Reserve+ app for conscripts now has a new feature: the ability to obtain a deferment from military service online for parents of children with disabilities.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has expanded the list of categories of individuals eligible for mobilization deferment through the “Reserve+” app.
