Restorative Music: “Vibrations of Recovery” Helps Rehabilitate the Wounded in Kharkiv
This weekend, October 10-11, 2026, a new series of sessions for the “Vibrations of Recovery” project will take place in Kharkiv. The event is aimed at psychological rehabilitation and emotional relief for military personnel undergoing treatment.
The project combines live music performances, light projections, and psychological practices. Sessions are held in a specially equipped shelter (minus the first floor) of the seven-story Kharkiv Military Hospital. This synergy of music and autogenic training helps soldiers reduce anxiety, relieve muscle tension, and temporarily escape the reality of the hospital.
Schedule of weekend sessions:
- Saturday, October 10, 2026:
- 10:00 – 11:15
- 11:30 – 12:45
- 13:30 – 14:45
- Sunday, October 11, 2026:
- 10:00 – 11:15
- 11:30 – 12:45
- 13:30 – 14:45
The current stage of the project is a continuation of a larger initiative, the pilot phase of which was successfully completed in 2025. The team continues to collect data and conduct surveys before and after sessions to collaborate with psychologists and rehabilitation specialists to evaluate the effectiveness of the method and make it available to specialists in the future.
The “Vibrations of Recovery” project is being implemented with the participation of the 5th separate Kyiv assault brigade and the Kharkiv military hospital, with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.
