Roads in Kyiv will be partially blocked due to the arrival of foreign delegations: where and when will traffic be restricted
Temporary traffic restrictions will be in effect in Kyiv from August 22 to 25 due to security measures involving foreign delegations. The restrictions will apply to the central part of the capital and certain areas of 4 districts of the city.
This was reported by the State Security Department of Ukraine.
The restrictions will apply in the central part of Kyiv, as well as in some areas of Pechersk, Podilskyi, Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts.
The UDO urged residents and guests of the capital to take this information into account when traveling around the city.
Security measures will be taken in connection with the stay of foreign delegations in Ukraine. The department noted that the relevant measures are provided for by the legislation of Ukraine on state security.
Previously, the Security Service of Ukraine called on citizens to be especially vigilant on the eve and during the celebration of Independence Day on August 24. The agency warned of possible shelling, provocations, sabotage, terrorist attacks, and cyberattacks from Russia.
