Romanian boats illegally crossed the border of Ukraine: what is known

Two Romanian boats accidentally entered Ukraine’s internal waters on the Danube. Their crews were detained by Ukrainian border guards, administrative protocols were drawn up, and the violators were handed over to the Romanian side.

This was reported on the Telegram of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

“Border guards detained the violators with a difference of several hours. As it turned out, both vessels went fishing without maps and navigational devices, so they accidentally entered the internal waters of Ukraine,” the State Border Service of Ukraine noted.

A total of four Romanian citizens on board were issued with reports for illegal border crossing. They were then handed over to Romanian officials.

We will remind, earlier the State Border Guard Service reported that they had detained foreign extreme sports enthusiasts who crossed the border of Ukraine on motorcycles .

Border guards also reported that at the checkpoint to Moldova, they detained evaders who were trying to illegally cross the border.
