RosZMI spread a fake about the UAE’s refusal to help Ukraine with the “shaheeds”

A fake is being spread online that the United Arab Emirates has allegedly refused Ukraine cooperation in countering Iranian strike drones.
Such information is actively being spread by anonymous Telegram channels and Russian media, citing fabricated Al Jazeera material, Detector Media reports .
In fact, there is no such news on the website of the reputable TV channel. Fact-checkers note that this is another information manipulation. And to make it more believable, propagandists used a fake story with the logo of a well-known media outlet.
Experts emphasize that such insinuations first appear in pro-Russian sources, after which they are massively distributed through bot farms and news aggregators.
At the same time, the real situation indicates the opposite. Ukrainian experience in combating drones is of considerable interest abroad. Since mid-March of this year, hundreds of Ukrainian specialists have been working in the Middle East, helping local air defense forces counter Iranian drones. In some cases, they have already participated in their successful destruction.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously reported that Ukraine has received a number of official requests from various countries — both from the Middle East region and from partners in Europe and the United States — for assistance in protecting against drone attacks.
In addition, Ukrainian defense companies are negotiating with foreign partners to supply interceptor drones. These are large contracts, and the demand for such technologies is only growing.
All this indicates that the statements about the alleged refusal to cooperate with Ukraine are untrue and are part of an information campaign.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously stated that Ukraine can help Middle Eastern countries protect people’s lives amid Iranian drone attacks and stabilize the situation in the region.
By the way, Ukrainian instructors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who trained American military personnel in the Persian Gulf, expressed their concerns about the US methods of combating Shahed drones . According to them, the allies are using expensive missiles against cheap targets and are not sufficiently protecting critical infrastructure.
