Rubio announced Ukraine’s strikes on US-linked vessels

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that in recent months, ships bound for the United States, as well as American oil shipments, have been targeted by Ukrainian strikes. He said this may have been unintentional.
Rubio said this on Fox News.
According to the Secretary of State, Washington is concerned that similar incidents have occurred repeatedly.
“It is concerning that in the last few months, in a number of cases, US-affiliated ships and US oil shipments have been targeted. Perhaps not intentionally, but they have been targeted by Ukraine,” Rubio said.
He stressed that the American side must deal with such incidents.
“We cannot allow this to happen,” the Secretary of State added.
Rubio did not specify which ships or specific incidents he was referring to. Nor did he claim in his statement that Ukraine deliberately attacked American ships.
Separately, the Secretary of State linked the rise in oil prices in recent weeks to the situation in the Black Sea, the war between Ukraine and Russia, as well as the actions of the Houthis.
Rubio’s statement came amid a discussion in Washington about a mutual cessation of attacks on energy infrastructure.
Recall that earlier Donald Trump asked Volodymyr Zelenskyy to stop attacks on Russian refineries , linking such attacks to rising diesel prices.
In addition, the President of Ukraine and the US leader agreed to meet in New York , where, among other things, they are to discuss issues of war and energy.
