On Thursday, October 16, US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the supply of Tomahawk missiles, the strategic initiative, and the possibility of holding a high-level meeting.

This was reported by the Russian media outlet RBC, citing Yuri Ushakov, Putin’s aide.

The conversation between Putin and Trump lasted about two and a half hours. According to Ushakov, it was “substantive in nature and extremely frank and trusting.”

“The Kiev regime is resorting to terrorist methods, to which Russia is forced to respond,” the report says.

Among other things, the leaders discussed a potential summit. Trump and Putin agreed that their representatives would handle the preparations.

Earlier, the American leader emphasized that the conversation was productive , as well as the fact that Putin congratulated him on the great success in resolving the war in the Middle East.
