Russia announces strikes on border substations: thousands of people left without electricity

The Governor of the Kursk Region, Alexander Khinshtein, announced Ukraine’s attack on Russian electrical substations in border regions.
He wrote about this on social media.
According to him, as a result, more than 16 thousand people in various districts of the Kursk region are without electricity.
At the same time, it is known that the city of Rylsk has been connected to backup power sources.
The consequences are currently being clarified. The Russian official noted that an engineering survey of the area will be conducted in the near future.
“Energy engineers will try to fix the malfunctions as soon as possible. I am keeping the situation under personal control,” he added.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked energy infrastructure in several regions : facilities in Chernihiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions came under enemy attack.
