Russia attacked a cardboard and paper mill in Obukhov: production was stopped
On October 7, Russia attacked the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill in Obukhiv for the third time in the past six months. The enterprise suffered serious damage and halted production.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill.
The attack caused significant damage to production and warehouse facilities. Equipment and utilities were also damaged.
After the explosions, fires broke out on the territory of the enterprise. Rescuers continue to eliminate them.
Due to the extent of the damage, the plant suspended production. However, no workers were injured – they followed safety instructions during the attack.
The company noted that this is the third attack on the company in the last six months.
Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill is located in Obukhiv, Kyiv region and is part of the Austrian holding Pulp Mill Holding. The enterprise produces cardboard, corrugated packaging, as well as sanitary and hygienic products.
As previously reported, the Russian attack on Kyiv on October 7 destroyed the warehouse of the publishing house “Knyholav” in Podil. The premises that the company had restored after the previous shelling were also damaged.
As a reminder, the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio was damaged for the third time as a result of a Russian attack.
