Russia attacked a DTEK mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region: almost two hundred workers were underground
On Sunday, October 19, Russian troops launched a massive attack on the DTEK mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region, while 192 employees were underground. After the shelling, an urgent evacuation of workers to the surface began.

“Russia massively attacked the DTEK mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. On the eve of the start of the heating season, the enemy struck again at the Ukrainian energy sector,” the company said in a statement.
According to the company, all employees were underground during the attack, but after the shelling, an organized evacuation began. There is no information about casualties yet.
DTEK noted that this is the fourth large-scale attack by the Russian military on the company’s coal enterprises in the last two months.
Energy experts emphasized that despite the systemic shocks, enterprises continue to operate, and specialists are doing everything possible to restore the damaged infrastructure.
Recall that on the night of Sunday, October 19, the Russian army carried out a massive attack on the territory of Ukraine , using 62 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerber and other models.
