Russia attacked an electric locomotive in Dnipro with a drone, injuring the driver and his assistant.

On the morning of March 5, Russian troops attacked railway infrastructure in the Dnipro region. A freight train driver and his assistant were injured in a drone strike.

The press service of the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine reported this.

According to the agency, a Russian drone collided with an electric locomotive while a freight train was moving.

The driver and his assistant were injured in the attack. They were quickly provided with the necessary medical attention.

The ministry emphasized that Russian attacks on transport infrastructure and shipping are part of systemic pressure on civilian logistics.

“This is a continuation of the terror campaign against civilian logistics and an attempt to undermine Ukraine’s economy and global food security,” the department noted.
