Russia attacked Kharkiv twice with drones: there are injured, a person may be under the rubble

On the night of Tuesday, May 19, Russian drones attacked Kharkiv twice. The Kholodnohirsky and Novobavarsky districts of the city were hit. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings were damaged, fires broke out, and there were casualties.

This was announced by the head of the OVA Oleg Synegubov and the city mayor Igor Terekhov.

According to local authorities, one of the drones hit a civilian infrastructure facility in the Novobavarsky district. A fire broke out at the scene, and rescuers and utility services were working.

At around 5 a.m., Russian forces struck again. The attack set two private homes on fire and damaged more than a dozen residential buildings. One person may have been trapped under the rubble.

It later became known that three people were injured as a result of the two attacks. In total, 25 private houses and one high-rise building were damaged. Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the shelling.
