Russia attacked Kyiv and the surrounding region, leaving at least four people injured in the capital.
On the night of September 9, Russian troops attacked Kyiv. One drone struck a multi-story building in the Darnytskyi district. At least four people are reported injured.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported this.
Impacts were also recorded overnight in the Darnytskyi and Holosiivskyi districts. In one location, two trucks and a nearby garage caught fire, while in another, a two-story, unoccupied building caught fire. According to preliminary reports, there were no fatalities or injuries.
Meanwhile, in the Kyiv region, two people were killed and seven others were injured in Russian attacks over the past 24 hours. Among the injured were two children.
The aftermath of the shelling was recorded in five districts of the region: Brovarsky, Belotserkovsky, Obukhovsky, Boryspilsky and Buchansky.
A total of 31 objects were damaged, including 11 private homes, two multi-story buildings, five industrial and warehouse facilities, an administrative and utility building, and 12 cars.
Russia also launched a strike drone attack on the Starokozache international checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Moldovan border overnight . The drones struck the checkpoint’s infrastructure and surrounding area, sparking fires and injuring civilians. Operations at the checkpoint were temporarily suspended.
