Russia attacked Kyiv with drones and missiles: people died, houses burned

On the night of October 22 and in the morning, the enemy carried out a combined strike on Kyiv, killing two people. Rescuers are currently eliminating the consequences of the night attack on the capital.

According to the press center of the State Emergency Service of Kyiv, in the Dniprovsky district, shells hit a 16-story residential building – a fire broke out on the 6th floor. 10 people were rescued and evacuated to fresh air. During the fire extinguishing, the bodies of two deceased were found.

In the Darnytskyi district, a fire broke out in a residential high-rise building after a drone hit it — floors 11 through 16 caught fire. The fire was contained, and 15 people were rescued, including two children. A fire also broke out in a two-story non-residential building.

In Desnyanskyi district, according to preliminary data, the facade of a 10-story residential building was damaged, a car burned down in the yard, and a gas pipe was damaged. 20 people were rescued during the fire extinguishing.

In the Pechersk district, a drone hit the 21st-floor entrance of a 25-story residential building. The fire was extinguished before the arrival of units. Information about the victims is being clarified.

Recall that on Tuesday, October 21, the Russian occupiers, using an Italmas-type strike drone, targeted an intersection in Sumy.

As reported, Russian occupation forces massively shelled Novgorod-Siverskyi, Chernihiv region, using strike drones.
