Russia attacked some energy facilities at night: where there is no light

As of the morning of December 18, there are power outages in Cherkasy, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhia regions as a result of Russian attacks.

It is noted that the enemy carried out attacks on energy facilities in several regions at night. As a result, consumers in Cherkasy, Mykolaiv and Zaporizhia regions are without power as of this morning. Emergency restoration work is ongoing in all affected regions. Power engineers are doing everything possible to return the damaged equipment to operation as soon as possible.

In particular, as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday, electricity consumption remained at the previous day’s level. In regions where hourly outages are in effect, there remains a need for energy conservation.

“Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances as much as possible. If possible, postpone energy-intensive processes to night hours – after 11:00 p.m.,” Ukrenergo urged.
