Russia attacked Sumy: drones hit a kindergarten

On Wednesday, May 6, in Sumy, Russian drones hit a kindergarten building in the city center.

This was announced by Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar.

According to him, two drone hits were recorded.

“Two UAVs hit a kindergarten building in the central part of the city,” he noted.

Rescuers and other emergency services are currently working at the scene. Information about the victims and the extent of the damage is being clarified.

The city administration also reports that civilian infrastructure has been hit, and the attack on the city itself is ongoing. Residents are urged to stay in shelters and follow safety rules.
