Russia attacked Sumy with drones: a high-rise building and a private house were damaged

On the night of June 2, a UAV hit the top floor of a high-rise building. A second drone was also spotted in the private sector, where a fire broke out.

This was reported by Sumy City Mayor Oleksandr Lysenko on his Telegram channel.

According to him, during the attack on the apartment building, there was an elderly woman in the room who suffered an acute stress reaction.

Her son was also in the next room. They were saved by the fact that the room had a thick wall.

The drone hit a window, knocking out part of the wall. The people were not injured, but they were very scared.

Lysenko noticed that windows were rattling in the rest of the high-rise building.

One drone was also spotted in the private sector, where a fire broke out. There were no injuries.

“There were no deaths or injuries among local residents. At the same time, the blast wave damaged neighboring houses,” Lysenko emphasized.

Earlier, “Pryamiy” reported that on the night of June 2, the Russian Federation launched a massive combined strike on Kyiv. As a result of the shelling, damage was recorded in several areas of the capital, there were deaths and dozens of injuries.

Also in Kyiv, after the Russian shelling, public transport was temporarily changed and several streets were blocked. The reason was damage to the contact network and the consequences of the enemy attack.
