Russia attacked the Odessa region with drones: two people were killed, a truck stop was damaged.
On the night of November 1, Russian forces launched a suicide drone strike on a truck parking lot in the Odessa region. The attack killed two people and injured several others.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, and the State Emergency Service reported this.
“Despite the active work of air defense forces, it was not possible to avoid damage to civilian infrastructure. The attack resulted in casualties,” Kiper noted.
According to the State Emergency Service, the fire was caused by five trucks, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
“Two people died at the scene, and their identities are being established. At least one other person is also known to have been injured,” the State Emergency Service clarified.
The regional head reported that three people were injured, one of whom was hospitalized with moderate thermal burns.
Emergency services and investigators are working at the scene, documenting the consequences of Russia’s latest crime against civilians.
