Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with an Iskander-M missile and 171 drones: Air defenses destroyed 157 drones.

On the night of February 2, Russian forces launched a massive air attack on Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 171 attack drones.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
The bulk of the attack was made up of Shahed drones—around a hundred of them. The enemy also used Gerber, Italmas, and other types of UAVs. The occupiers launched the missile from temporarily occupied Crimea, and the drones from Russian territory and occupied Donetsk.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire teams of the Defense Forces. As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces had destroyed or suppressed 157 enemy drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
At the same time, hits by ballistic missiles and 12 attack drones were recorded at eight locations.
