On the night of August 29, Russia launched another massive air attack on Ukraine, using the Onyx anti-ship missile, the Iskander-M ballistic missile, and 267 attack drones of various types.
The command of the Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
As of 8:30 AM, the Air Defense Forces had shot down or suppressed 233 Russian UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types. The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire teams.
At the same time, air strikes were recorded at 15 locations, and debris from downed targets fell at another four.
The Air Force also noted that some Russian weapons failed to reach their targets, and information about the final results of the attack continues to be clarified.
