Russia attacked Ukraine with 125 drones and missiles overnight.

On the night of July 5, Russian forces launched another combined attack on Ukraine, using various types of missiles and 125 attack drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy or suppress most of the aerial targets.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

According to the military, the occupiers used:

• one Kh-31 anti-radar missile from the Black Sea;
• three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the airspace of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region;
• 125 Shahed-type attack UAVs (including jet-powered ones), as well as Gerbera and Italmas drones and Parodiya drone imitators, launched from the territory of the Russian Federation, temporarily occupied Donetsk and Crimea.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were deployed to repel the air attack.

As of 08:00, according to preliminary data, Ukrainian air defense neutralized 115 air targets:

• 112 attack drones of various types;
• three Kh-59/69 guided air-to-air missiles.

At the same time, the Kh-31 anti-radar missile did not reach its target.

Four strike drones were recorded hitting three locations. Debris from downed aerial targets fell in eight other locations.

The Air Force noted that the attack continued after the morning assembly, as several Russian drones remained in Ukrainian skies. Citizens were urged not to ignore air raid sirens and to observe safety regulations.
