Russia attacked Ukraine with 178 drones: how the air defense worked

On the night of Tuesday, March 17, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with 178 drones. Air defense managed to shoot down 154 of them.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“from 18:00 on March 16) the enemy attacked with 178 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, – RF, Gvardiyske, Chauda – TOT AR Crimea, about 110 of them – “Shaheeds” – the post says.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 154 enemy UAVs.
22 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 12 locations, as well as the fall of downed UAVs (fragments) at two locations.
