Russia attacked Ukraine with 289 drones: how it worked out its air defense

On the night of Tuesday, March 31, the Russian occupation army attacked Ukrainian cities with drones. Air defenses neutralized more than 260 drones of various types.
This was reported by the Air Force of Ukraine.
“From 18:00 on March 30, the enemy attacked with 289 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Gvardiyske – TOT AR Crimea, about 200 of them – “Shaheeds” – the post says.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down or suppressed 267 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas type, and drones of other types.
20 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 11 locations, as well as downed UAVs (fragments) falling in six locations.
As a reminder, on the evening of Monday, March 30, the Russian occupation army struck Poltava. An apartment building was damaged as a result of the attack.
