Russia attacked Ukraine with 322 drones at night: how the air defense worked

Russian occupation forces carried out another massive drone attack on Ukraine on Saturday night, July 5. The defenders of the sky managed to neutralize 292 enemy air targets.

On the night of July 5, Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack on Ukraine, launching 322 Shahed-type attack drones and imitators of various types in the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo.
The main direction of the strike was the city of Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytsky region. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that as of 09:30, Ukrainian air defense had neutralized 292 enemy UAVs: 157 were shot down by fire, another 135 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.
