Russia attacked Ukraine with 52 Shahed attack drones: how the air defense worked

On the night of July 1, Russia attacked Ukraine with 52 Shahed attack drones and other unmanned aircraft. Air defense forces managed to destroy 47 hostile targets.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

The attack was carried out in the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.

A total of 14 drones were shot down by fire, and another 33 drones were suppressed by electronic warfare. The drones were destroyed in the north and east of Ukraine.

According to the Air Force, three hits and falls of debris from downed targets were recorded in one location.
