Russia attacked Ukraine with 55 drones: how the air defense worked

On the night of August 22, Russian troops launched 55 Shahed attack drones and drone imitators into Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
The launches were carried out from five directions at once: Shatalovo, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and the temporarily occupied Gvardeyskoye in Crimea.
As of 9:00, air defense forces have destroyed or suppressed 46 enemy UAVs in northern and eastern Ukraine. At the same time, nine hits were recorded in four locations.
In particular, the Chuguev community in the Kharkiv region was hit. According to the city mayor Galina Minaeva, the occupiers hit an industrial enterprise that was not working. Warehouse buildings were damaged, there were no casualties.
