On the night of Thursday, May 14, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine, using dozens of missiles and hundreds of drones. The occupiers aimed the main blow at Kyiv.

According to the military, after a daytime strike with almost 800 drones, the enemy continued the attack at night. In total, Ukrainian air defense forces recorded 731 air targets — 56 missiles and 675 drones of various types.

“The main direction of the strike is Kyiv,” the Air Force noted.

Russia launched three Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles, 18 Iskander-M and S-400 ballistic missiles, and 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles into Ukraine. In addition, the occupiers attacked with hundreds of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other UAVs.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems.

“As of 08:00, air defenses have shot down or suppressed 693 air targets,” the military reported.

Air defense forces destroyed 29 cruise missiles, 12 ballistic missiles, and 652 enemy drones.

At the same time, 15 missiles and 23 strike drones were recorded hitting 24 locations. Falling debris from downed targets was recorded in another 18 locations.
