Russia attacked Ukraine with 58 drones: how many were destroyed by air defense

Air defense forces have neutralized 30 of the 58 drones that Russian occupiers used to attack Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

“On the night of June 18 (from 23:00 on June 17), the enemy attacked with 58 Shahed-type strike UAVs and drone imitators of various types in the following directions: Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation, Chauda – TOT Crimea,” the report says.

The main directions of attack are Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk region and Zaporozhye.

The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 08:30, the air defense neutralized 30 hostile Shahed-type UAVs (drones of other types) in the east and north of the country. 12 were shot down by fire weapons, 18 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.

Enemy air strikes were recorded in 9 locations.
