Russia attacked Ukraine with almost 130 drones and a ballistic missile: how many did air defense shoot down?

Since the evening of Thursday, February 19, the Russian occupation forces have attacked Ukraine with Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 128 drones. Air defense forces managed to neutralize 107 of them.

This was reported by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that the occupiers launched ballistic missiles from the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, and strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. About 80 of them are “Shaheeds”.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defenses shot down or suppressed 107 enemy Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

A ballistic missile and 21 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, as well as the fall of downed aircraft (fragments) at 1 location.
