Russia attacked Ukraine with almost a hundred drones: how it worked out its air defense

On the night of April 13, Russia attacked Ukraine using nearly 100 attack drones. Most of them were neutralized by the Ukrainian Air Force.

This was reported by the press service of the PS.

The enemy sent 65 “Shaheeds” to Ukrainian territory, another 33 UAVs – Gerbera, Italmas, and drones of other types.

Drones fly from Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as temporarily occupied Gvardiyske in Crimea.

Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.

As of 8:00 a.m. on April 13, 87 enemy UAVs had been shot down/suppressed in the eastern and northern regions of Ukraine.

However, nine drones were recorded hitting 9 locations and debris fell in another location.

“The attack is ongoing, there are enemy UAVs in the airspace. Follow safety rules!” the Air Force called.

As a reminder, on April 12 , the Russian army used 7,702 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,202 attacks on Ukrainian settlements and positions of the Defense Forces.
