Russia attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles: how many did air defense shoot down?

Since the evening of Thursday, March 12, the Russian Federation has launched 126 drones and an Iskander-M missile into Ukraine.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“The enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile from the Rostov region – the Russian Federation, as well as 126 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas attack UAVs and drones of other types from the directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – the Russian Federation, Gvardiyske – TOT AR Crimea, about 80 of them are “Shaheeds”, – the post says.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 117 enemy UAVs.

A ballistic missile and 8 strike UAVs were recorded at 7 locations, as well as debris at 5 locations.

The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still in the airspace.
