Russia attacked Ukraine with five ballistic missiles, nine cruise missiles, and 108 strike drones on the night of October 13. Air defense forces shot down or suppressed 88 enemy drones, but recorded hits at 17 locations.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

For the attack, Russian forces used Iskander-M/S-400 missiles launched from the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, as well as Banderol/Dan-T munitions and Shahed, Gerbera and Parody-type drones. Of the 108 attack UAVs, 74 were jet-powered.

The drones were launched from the directions of Orel, Kursk, and Primorsky-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast and Crimea — from the Gvardiyskyi district.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses had neutralized 88 enemy Shahed, Gerber and other types of drones. Among them, 58 were jet.

At the same time, airstrikes were recorded at 17 locations. Debris from downed targets fell at seven more locations.
In addition, Russian loitering munitions hit Kharkiv. Some of them did not reach their targets.
As of this morning, the attack was still ongoing, with Russian drones still in the airspace. The Air Force urged Ukrainians to follow safety rules.
