Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones: air defense shot down most targets

On the night of April 24, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones. Air defense forces shot down or suppressed most of the air targets, but missiles and drones were recorded hitting a number of locations.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, since 18:00 on April 23, the enemy launched two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov region, as well as 107 attack drones of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other models at Ukraine. The launches were carried out from several directions in Russia and from the temporarily occupied Crimea.
About 70 of the launched UAVs were of the Shahed type.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, air defense units, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
As of 08:00, Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed 96 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
At the same time, two ballistic missiles and 10 strike drones were recorded hitting nine locations. Downed drones and debris were found falling at two more locations.
Information on the consequences is being clarified.
As reported, on the night of Friday, April 24, the Russian occupation army attacked Odessa with drone strikes. The shelling killed two people and injured at least 14 others of varying severity.
